Thursday started with some rain, but we got through that with the help of players from Anderson Premiere Homes (APH) and JL Richard's as well as a few others. Christensen Floors beat eventual runner-up's APH to make a statement. Main Tap II squeaked out a victory over the young quick Stallions.

Friday saw Maria's Pizza, an over-35 team, win 5-4 over a younger Keith's Kid's team and advance to Saturday.

Saturday was rocky with Rocky's Pizza advancing into Sunday, but also rocky with the annual co-ed/men's scheduling problems, a forfeit due to an illegal bat, too early of a start of winning bracket teams, etc. Lessons learned for next year. But we also saw a great game to end the night between TJC & A&R, followed by a homerun contest that showcased Scott from A&R hitting seven in the first round followed by an eye-opening performance by Colin from Keith's Kid's. Joe Robson of Anderson Premiere Homes eventually won the contest and the new bat donated by Badger Sporting Goods with second place trophy going to Colin of Keith's Kids.

Sunday the experienced teams prevailed with defending champions Center Tavern I winning the co-ed championship and A&R Closet Creations taking the men's.

SPECIAL THANKS to Rich Harms for all your help throughout the weekend, Ian Smith for handling the financial arm of the tourney, Travis Powers for picking up scorebooks and balls for the tourney and throughout the season, Eddie for scoreboarding. Thanks to Jeff Leen, Dan Dean, Mike Roche and the TJC guys for keeping the scorebooks when we needed help. Thanks again to Kris Muth's and Joe Robson's rainout crew along with Triple K for the sawdust. Thanks to Jerry Mandt for help with the bats. Thanks also to Mike Devenport for pre-tourney preparations. Thanks to those names I missed. Next year we'll need a lot more help to make this work right. We will have a Summer Fest committee and there will be a lot of roles to fill.
